Resident Evil: Extinction
This movie is exactly what I expected and exactly what I wanted. Which is to say, it was bad – but bad in the totally awesome way. So many plot holes. So much bad dialog. So many cliches. It was wonderful.
Like, “hey, if it’s been five years since the world started to turn into a desert and everyone has died, and gas is so valuable, how come these crazy people live in a building that is crumbling – falling apart – and still have power?”
Like, “hey, when did she become a telekinetic?”
Like, “how come these dumbasses are trying to kill a flock of zombie crows with 9mm handguns?”
Once I decided to turn my brain off and just accept these things, I had a lot of fun with it.
Though, they kept photoshopping Mila’s face. It was terribly obvious – especially when no one else was being visually adjusted. I don’t know why they did that, as there were a couple scenes where they didn’t photoshop her, and it wasn’t like she was horribly pitted and pocked or anything.
